Our modern factory houses the very latest equipment. We have a full project control system, pre press, printing and finishing departments. Our staff receive all the relevant training they require to ensure all Mastercolour work is produced to the very highest standard.

Project Control

Even the best presses in the world won't produce quality work if they are not supported by efficient management systems. Since 1982, we've been fine-tuning our operation to ensure accurate, timely performance in all aspects of our work – from estimating, through pre-press and printing to finishing, packing and delivery.

Pre-Press

We are constantly investing in leading-edge equipment that enables us:

  • to accept client materials in the widest range of formats
  • to further develop the speed and quality of our output
  • to produce colour proofs that customers can trust

We have full digital communications including ISDN, enabling us to send and receive PDF proofs prior to film / plates if necessary. We have also recently installed the latest 'computer to plate' technology allowing us even faster turn arounds at more competitive prices, whilst improving quality.

Printing

We have seven high-quality presses, varying in size and configuration all from the same manufacturer (see plant list). This enables us to interchange jobs quickly and easily, so that we can provide our clients with the optimum combination of speed and quality, while maintaining our competitive cost base.

Finishing

At Mastercolour our full range of finishing facilities, (including handwork where required) does justice to the high standards maintained in all previous stages of any job.

Finishing processes are overseen in-house to ensure consistency of quality and delivery to deadline.
